Parish Church of St Mary the Virgin, Kidlington

Music at St Mary's

Worship at St Mary's Kidlington is enhanced by a wide range of music, sung by its choir and accompanied on its fine organ.

To encourage the revival of choral singing, the Director of Music has established a series of "Come and Sing" events where singers, experienced and novice, come together and prepare a performance in a couple of hours rehearsal. The church is used by the local schools for their Christmas Carol Services.

St Mary's also plays host to a variety of concerts throughout the year. Our Coffee Concerts are a new series of occasional short recitals given at around 11.20am on Sunday mornings.

A new children's choir, St Mary's Choristers, is to be formed in September. Read about the taster afternoon on the 18th June below.
