St Mary's Hampton Poyle: by Owen (aged 10)
Our parish lies some six miles north of Oxford. We are served by three churches: the mediaeval Parish Church of St Mary the Virgin and the Church of St John the Baptist in Kidlington itself, and, across the meadows of the River Cherwell, by another ancient church of St Mary the Virgin in Hampton Poyle.
Our churches are open for part of the day for individual private prayer, but are not open for services. Please join with us in our daily prayer and services relayed by video.
Recordings of past Sunday & Tuesday Communion services, Pauses for Prayer, Joyful Noises, Compline Talks, and Reflections can be accessed from this Index Page
is now on line, with a new recorded service of music, stories, and fun every week.

The Community Hub runs and hosts child and carer groups, mostly at St John's in the Broadway, but also in St Mary's in Church St. (All activities are suspended pro tem.)
Our churches were built for all in the community, and have been used day in and day out for close to 800 years. After a period of closure, our churches are open for part of the day for individual private prayer, but are not yet holding services. But please join with us in our daily prayer and services relayed by video.
We seek to serve the communities of Kidlington and Hampton Poyle for their own sake ... to respond to God's call to recognize and establish the Kingdom of God in the minds and lives of local people ... by faith and trust in God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
