St Mary's Kidlington
Recordings of past Pauses for Prayer, Services, Reflections & Compline can be accessed from this Index Page
Our Parish lies some six miles north of Oxford. We are served by three churches: the mediaeval Parish Church of St Mary the Virgin and the Church of St John the Baptist in Kidlington itself, and, across the meadows of the River Cherwell, by another ancient church of St Mary the Virgin in Hampton Poyle.

The Open Gardens Weekend, planned as part of our 2020 celebrations, has had to be postponed until 2021. However, a number of photos of the gardens have been posted on the Kidlington & Hampton Poyle 800 website so that you can see how beautiful they are looking and what you can look forward to in June 2021.
Is now on line, with a new recorded service of music, stories, and fun every Friday at 9am.

♦ Kidlington & Hampton Poyle 800
Our churches were built for all in the community, and have been used day in and day out for close to 800 years. The doors of the two St Mary's are usually open each day, as is the chapel at St John's for quiet morning prayer. Unfortunately, and especially so when we need them most, we are now required keep the churches closed. Please join with us in our daily prayer and services relayed by video.
We seek to serve the communities of Kidlington and Hampton Poyle for their own sake ... to respond to God's call to recognize and establish the Kingdom of God in the minds and lives of local people ... by faith and trust in God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
