About this deal

While there are many resources available for English-speakers to learn about the Prophet ﷺ, much of the literature can be dense with information and facts. I have one minor critique which is that some few words and phrases that are beyond a typical child’s vocabulary. There are many examples of the Prophet’s characteristic of staying away from the riches or material goods of this world.

Having only read random quotes and Hadiths regarding the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and his life; I had longed to know more. Many academics have devoted their work to both types of writings equally from the 8th and 9th centuries. He tried to find some Islamic history books for Zakaria but struggled to find anything which catered to his age group, this sparked a desire to produce a book on the Seerah that appealed to a younger demographic.

As you read through this book, you’ll reflect on your own life and how you can improve it and improve yourself. Had you been harsh, hard-hearted, they would have certainly dispersed from around you; hence pardon them and ask protection for them, and consult them in matters (of administration), and when you are determined (after due consultation), put your trust in Allâh. It also has been said that the Prophet Muhammad would be up in prayer even in the middle of the night.Though warmly received by many in the city, there are pockets of people who don’t want him there and will try to undermine him at every step. Reading The Simple Seerah made me want to read and learn more about Islamic history through its characters, I found myself wondering about Abu Bakr RA, and wanting more details about the Rasool.

Exactly as is described in Mufti Menk’s foreword, the book transports you to the time of the Prophet (SAW).Today in the 21st century, the message of the Prophet continues to challenge the status quo in societies around the world on issues such as individualism, materialism, and atheism. This book is a beautiful introduction to the life of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), it was perfect for me to read not long after I accepted Islam, Alhamdullilah, to learn about the Prophet (SAW). It also has a beautiful cover that complements Part 1 and is wonderfully illustrated throughout as well!
