This would be so much better if it was a 150-pages long practical guide concentrated on one theory than an attempt to do it all. Two-thirds of The Lost Art of Running is a travel log of Benzie's many travels all over the globe, though you get none of the descriptive, immersive writing of real travel writing. I normally give self-improvement literature a wide berth but as an injured stuck-at-home runner, missing the running rub, thought, let’s give this a blast!

This will keep you from driving your body too hard on the track to hit or better your previous workout times. years ago, a seemingly easy meniscus operation on both legs (at the same time) turned into a drama recovery. I can’t wait try out some of the ideas, but in the meantime, find myself giving the advice much thought, adjusting my posture and pondering on relaxation in running.
