About this deal

Anyway, I thought it would be good to start up a thread where people can raise any questions that they want to find the answers to in the final book.

For those that are not familiar, author Lucinda Riley sadly passed away in 2021 prior to completing this book which is the final installment of the Seven Sisters series. Like the two or three before it a good edit would have seen a novel of half the length with much greater impact. This was so cleverly executed that not once was I confused as to what time period I was in or who the narrator was; covering such a vast time period and cast of characters this can’t have been easily achieved. All of that said I continue to admire the original premise behind these novels, but the execution was increasingly not to my liking.

I mean all he did was receive an enormous inheritance from his granny which turned him into this superrich dude. With this last book, Pa Salt's story comes of age and we discover his many secrets whilst still having immense respect for him and his choices, and what a wonderful story he tells.

k.a the little French orphan / Bo / Mr Tanit / the ice-cream man) lost his wife (Elle / Mrs Tanit) at some stage between 1944 and 1951. With so many characters and intertwining storylines, it made it a bit difficult to keep things straight at times. Following Lucinda’s death in 2021, Atlas: The Story of Pa Salt is a work of collaboration with her son Harry Whittaker. Now that most people have had at least a week (or 5, depending on your language) to read the seventh book, it seems like a great time to start to theorise a bit more on what comes next. I like that all the loose ends are tied up by the end, and I was right about one major plot point that I won't spoil for other readers. As the title suggests each book is dedicated to each sister, within each book is the story about their origins and they are all named after the Seven Sisters of the Pleiades.

In New Zealand it became the biggest launch for a book since the release of Dan Brown’s The Lost Symbol in September 2009.By rejecting non-essential cookies, Reddit may still use certain cookies to ensure the proper functionality of our platform. If nothing else, the seventh book has set some very high expectations in terms of answers that readers will be expecting in the next book. Her son Harry Whittaker whom she had co-written other books with, will finish the 8th book, of Pa Salts story that Lucinda had started writing.

But a long-lost sister holds the key the unlocking each personal history connected to this sprawling family. Atlas will reward those who have loved the novels since the beginning, but there is a new story to tell, too (although it’s always been there, hidden quietly amongst the first 4,500 pages). With over 200 people now joined, hopefully together we can pull together a giant list of questions and theories, and start using our collective insights to predict what comes next.
