We don't get to see that much of him in this volume, but he continue to be one of the best characters. Tatsuki Fujimoto won Honorable Mention in the November 2013 Shueisha Crown Newcomers’ Awards for his debut one-shot story Love is Blind.Denji actually had some badass moments here, showing off his new combat strategies, avenging his fallen comrades and sticking up for his grieving friends all while advancing his understanding of human relationships.

Update: I started the next volume and the level of clownery I’m experiencing is insane because OF COURSE REZE WAS TRYING TO KILL HIM 😭. He might be a dopey annoying idiot, but his lack of education, terrible social skills and the fact that he’s being emotionally blackmailed and taken advantage of by everyone he has a semblance of affection for makes me feel bad for the guy. The background of the coloured cover is light yellow with the title logo being rainbow coloured and author's name being black. The amount of detail the artwork has when there's a fight is amazing and it makes everything much more exciting and brutal.More Hamburger icon An icon used to represent a menu that can be toggled by interacting with this icon. I really do like how Denji isn't the typical heart of god dogooder you can find in other shonen manga, I even like he would get horny after some girls. Sigo sin estar convencida, así que no sé por qué continúo leyendo; probablemente una mezcla de Aki con que este volumen quedó en un cliffhanger.

Also, subplot length is variable in number of original issues, and subplots do not fit too neatly in each collected volume. I understand I can change my preference through my account settings or unsubscribe directly from any marketing communications at any time. Even though he's a devil hunter, he's very realistic as a 16 year old boy and his journey into discovering he has a heart was short, but sweet. I really liked the subtle psychological horror stuff with Makima and her uncomfortable relationship with Denji.

Both Angel Devil and Shark Fiend seem like very interesting new characters and I'd love to see more of them in the next volumes. Her interactions with Denji really hit home on the points I’ve been making about him since the beginning of the story. After that, he goes to a non romantic date with Makima, where they watch a lot of movies and she helps him find out he has a heart. Then we move on to Denji's first real date with Makima and it's super adorable even if I don't fully trust her.

After being killed on a job, Denji is revived by his pet devil-dog Pochita and becomes something new and dangerous—Chainsaw Man! That being said, near the end of the volume there's a plot twist than puts all that into question, so we'll have to wait for the next volumes to give us the answers to who she actually is and what her intentions are.

Given the fact that he's only 16, it's very realistic that he has feelings for every girl that seems to be even slightly interested in him. She seems interested in him and one night they go together to her school, after it closed for the day and Denji starts developing feeling for her as well.
