Overall, the sound of the Edifier G2000 gaming speakers is pretty impressive. They are a small, lightweight option that doesn’t take up too much space while still delivering excellent sound quality.

For those styles of games, a nice speaker system can go a long way in the immersion of a game, and the G2000 certainly doesn’t disappoint there. So should you buy the Edifier G2000 Gaming Speakers?The action scenes in The Mandalorian are just as epic-sounding, though perhaps ever so slightly more compressed and distorted in the mids. The sound imaging is impressive though – you can actually hear where the blasters, stomps, and explosions are coming from. Even the movement of an elevator closing is apparent. Plus, there’s the tiniest bit of rumble when the Dark Troopers are marching in the last episode of season 2. You don’t necessarily need a lot of bass while gaming, but it would have been nice to have a little more for watching TV or listening to music. Another thing that happens when you switch them on for the first time they make a sound that’s half engine rev and half-alien spaceship preparing to take off. My five-year-old thought it was the most exciting thing he’d heard all day, but I’m not sure that my wife was quite as impressed. It’s not a thing that’s big, or clever, and this is coming from a man with a variety of multicoloured RGB fans spinning around in his PC.
Control-wise, there are two buttons on one of the speakers and I’m going to say they’re on the left speaker. I’m not too sure which speaker is which as I couldn’t see anything Identifying which was left or right. The buttons can be used to turn them on and off, change volume, change input and change RGB colour/effect. volume control is a mechanical shift lever that can be pushed up or down, while the other controls are simple push buttons. There are also three built in sound profiles you can choose between, Music, Game and Movie. That said, nobody wants to reach behind their media consoles to disconnect and reconnect things everytime they switch devices. Factor in the remote, which has a separate button for the RCA inputs and another for the optical and coaxial inputs, and you never have to get up from your comfy couch again.
Do not place any object filled with liquids, such as vases on the product; neither should any open fire, such as lighted candles be placed on the product. Never use strong acid, alkali, gasoline, alcohol, or other chemical solvents to clean the product surface. Use only neutral solvent or clear water for cleaning.
