About this deal

Child has also written 3 other books to the series, 'Take Your Last Breath' and 'Catch Your Death' and 'Feel The Fear,’ Available soon. I really enjoyed this book as it is very cleverly written, because you feel you are finding the clues with Ruby. The plot has a lot of different stories included in it, which makes it unexpected and leaves you on the edge of your seat. I would recommend for ages 10+ I've been a massive fan of Charlie and Lola and Clarice Bean ever since I was really little. My parents would read me the picture books, and then when the first CB novel came out they read it to me as well. When I read it on my own it was the first chapter book I had ever read with no help at all, and I was immensely proud of myself. I bought the second book and waited avidly for the third and last. My best friend's mother used to work in publishing and she happened to be at Lauren Child's book signing, and bought me a signed edition of Don't Look Now. I've been waiting for Ruby Redfort books to come out for ages, and I'm so glad I got it for Christmas.

Ruby must pit her wits against a seemingly invisible foe. How do you set your sights on catching a light-fingered villain if you can’t even see him…?The characters are excellente. They are amazingly orchestrated and the banter between all the characters was hilarious. What was refreshing was the bond between Clancy & Ruby. No. Let me guess, Romance? Nope, it's not. It's pure friendship. No, the antagonists have my respects. They were likeable, a bit dramatic, but awesome! Just a gripping classic. Felt more cleverer because I understood all of the mathematical symbols in one of the qs for the Spectrum test (couldn't understand the question...but the symbols are a step closer!) now to read the rest before testing negative! Yeah, she already believes you’re a butler; you don’t need to make out you’re the best entire one to ever polish on this earthly universe of Twinford.” I used to be a big fan of Charlie and Lola when I was little, then as I got older I’d started to read Clarice Bean. In the Clarice Bean books, Clarice is a big fan of a secret spy agent 'Ruby Redfort' I had always wondered about this young spy, and the adventures she had. Clarice thought she was brilliant. Now I have to agree with her!

i've had a think and i believe that Henry Cavill would make an excellent Hitch. also this book is a great one. my second fav potentially? good things. Tigers are roaming the streets, and it looks like someone has deliberately released some very rare and very dangerous animals. Things are going to get wild – and Ruby is going to get badly lost in the wilderness. The question is: will she ever make it out alive? Yes it is a kids book... but I used to read clarice bean as a child and I couldnt miss this new series! I really loved this book, I am giving extra points for the fact that this takes place in a time before we had cellphones, before internet, before anything really fancy actually. The kids use pay phones, or the landline, Ruby and Clancy have a secret code and leave notes. If they want to research something they use their brains, and in Ruby's case lots of books. It was something that I loved. So many detective stuff these days are full of people just googling stuff and figuring it out within the blink of an eye, while with this one you actually had fun seeing the characters struggle and think about the answers.

The thing is… my daughter doesn’t like them. She is a fan of fantasy and mystery and also very much of mixed-up fairy tales. Ruby Redfort falls into the secret agent mystery category. Although not a big fan of Clarice Bean, I thought Windsor would like these more because of the mystery. But she has set them aside, twice, to continue plowing through yet another mixed-up fairy tale series (even though I found the other series inferior…) and has yet to finish even the first one.

Verán estos libros yo los encontré por casualidad en remate en una feria del libro, como las portadas me llamaron mucho la atención ls compre sin saber de qué se trataba la historia, pero como lo he dicho es buena la historia. I started reading and I was instantly hooked. It was amazing. It had many unpredictable moments, twists and turns witch I liked very much, cool kind of font through out the book, a great story line and Ruby wore some really funny slogan shirts witch made me laugh. It took me about 9 days to finish, considering it was a big book with small font I was impressed. Hitch was sitting at the kitchen table, polishing some silverware and looking for all the world like an actual butler.
