About this deal

Booker, I know you. And I know what’s best for you. Take my advice here. You’re better off this way. I’m sure Poppy will let you be a part of the baby’s life in some small way.” Hot damn Booker Harris, you're in my net. This is the 3rd book in the Harris Brothers series, and I'm absolutely loving all of their stories. The dynamic of this family is amazing. The only thing Max loves more than success is his daughter Everly. So when her mother takes a chance at a summer overseas, Max has to find someone to stay with Everly for the summer. Enter Cozy, a wild woman with hippie ideas, who pitches a low-key summer of "doing nothing" and gets the job. It isn't long before Max is fully obsessed with his daughters nanny. Amy Daws lives in South Dakota with Kevin (her husband) and Lorelei (their miracle daughter). It was the long-awaited birth of Lorelei that inspired Amy’s passion for writing.

Daws not only made it, he smashed the ceiling in every way imaginable. The swoons, the awkward situations that made me gasp with laughter, the tears of laughter, the heartfelt moments and the Scotch whiskey of heartbreak. It was all at once. it was perfection. I also loved seeing Everly’s relationship with Max and the kinship she developed with Cozy. Congratulations on getting the Boulder gang together for one last hooray. May I hope Max’s brothers get their own spin-off in the future? But then you can throw away all the effort because instead of finding a common ground and trying to learn each other again she is forcing the guy to have some meaningless one night stands… trying very hard (and pathetically at times) to seduce him. She even makes his family involved in helping her. I enjoyed the cameos from all of the Wait With Me series characters and how they embraced Cozy into their crew. She fit right into the chaos!

Booker mi ha fatto un po’ tenerezza. È grande, grosso e muscoloso (insomma, è un portiere!) ma allo stesso tempo è un tipo insicuro e spaventato dall'amore, non capisce quello che prova davvero finché non rovina tutto. My only criticism is the level of exposition we got from Max’s POV at the beginning as he was listing every previous couple’s book summary. I didn’t need all of that information to enjoy this book. They’re couples. That’s all I really needed to know. But it’s such a small complaint! I’m not the biggest fan of having children characters in steamy books, but this was quite well done and I really liked the kid. Challenge” is the first novel in the “Harris Brother” series and was released in the year 2016. She is his doctor, and he is her patient. They really shouldn’t, but jeez, do they want to. Camden Harris is the famously hot and hulk of a footballer and is currently laid up in some London hospital. However his busted knee does not stop him from running his own well-practiced game on his redheaded spitfire that is his doctor, named Indie Porter.

She’d planned to march into his bedroom and declare that they belonged together but as she made her way through the park, approaching the halfway point between their houses, their tree came into view. It was only a tiny part of the story, but I quite enjoyed the powerful LGBTQ+ message. Acceptance, support–financially and emotionally–and the fact that it’s Max who delivers it. All of that was nice and positive. Oh Cozy, he’s my absolute favorite character since he’s real. She has perfectly normal everyday problems that make her the best kind of heroine. She has baggage, trauma and personality in abundance and is all the better for it. It’s really nice to be able to read a book and have the MC normal. Not only is she a plus-size powerhouse, but she also has hobbies and reads just like us! I’ve read this twice already and kept finding more and more things I love about both of them. I also chose the Audible version because it was available on release day! I love immersing myself in a story by reading and listening to it. It took me a while to relate Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon to these characters. I don’t think they were the voices I originally envisioned for Max and Cozy, but it didn’t take long for me to sink into their words and get carried away. I fell in love with the Harris brothers the moment I started reading Challenge and as the series progresses they just keep getting better and better. Camden was firmly sitting pretty as my favorite Harris brother up until I read Keeper. Why? Two words: Booker Harris. *swoon* That man. Sweet baby Jesus. He is now sitting pretty at the top of my Harris brother totem pole with Camden right behind him. Last on the List was an absolute pleasure to read and listen to. Cozy and Max were very entertaining, especially Cozy with her inner thoughts on her own ZADDY! the chemistry 🔥. Oh LAWD. Even when Max saves her from her near drowning, there’s just fire everywhere. She’s curvy and plump and she turns him on so much… and his abs are fit enough to wash clothes on… plus, they can’t help but want each other

This is the third book of the Harris Brothers series and this is about the youngest Harris Brother, BOOKER HARRIS..!! Another great book by Amy Daws!! Keeper can definitely be read as a standalone as I have not read either of the first two books in this series. Booker's brothers do make appearances in this book but they do not overshadow anything in this book.

I thought cozy was a wonderful fmc. The more I read, the more I got to know her and understand why she is the way she is. It’s honestly wonderful to see how strong she is and how confident and beautiful she feels in her own skin!! I also really loved how awkward she was throughout the book, just saying the most random things. It was funny. audiobook) Once again, the author mixes a deliciously sexy romcom with a generous amount of serious questions about life and relationships. This time, the burden of a toxic workplace environment and the acceptance of one’s sexuality can be seen between the torrid encounters of billionaire Max with his big younger nanny. And it works so well. Well, now maybe. She’s older and she smiles and giggles. That makes it easier. As newborns, they take and take and take.” She’s no longer in love with Booker. They’re best friends and nothing more, which is a relief as her eighteen-year-old self was a deluded cow. She almost ruined everything by sharing those silly feelings. She was such an imaginative child that she warped basic acts of friendship into acts of true love. She made advertisements for more than a decade before finally biting the bullet and starting writing romance novels on a full time basis. Her family is her entire world and the extra time she gets with them by not juggling multiple jobs has been amazing.

I care for her. Deeply. I would be f*ing devastated if something happened to her, but do I love her? No, Vi. I don’t. I don’t have the space to love her like that.” The chastising tone of his words pierce through any shred of dignity I had left. I feel dirty and ashamed as he looks at me like I'm the worst mistake of his life. Is hooking up with me really such an appalling concept to him? I realize he can get girls ten times hotter than me, but to act like I'm some kind of disgusting mistake is a degradation I can't stomach. Booker is just so damned adorable and I loved watching he and Poppy grow, and learning all about how they work/fit together. I particularly loved the moments when he would "Keeper" her.

Another detail I absolutely loved was the Bookstagram and Booktok references. She took every single trend readers have been going crazy for and weaved them in do seamlessly it felt effortless. They even sometimes made me laugh out loud because I was like I LOVE WHEN GUYS DO THAT IN BOOKS. Cassandra’s confidence. She’s fat, and she owns it! Yes, she has moments where she questions herself, but who doesn’t? I always love when we get a plus size heroine whose personality isn’t ruled by her weight. Hi, THE SPICE. The author’s note promised this book would be spicier, and Amy wasn’t lying! I, for one, am super happy about that! For everyone. If you’re not terrified of losing Poppy every day of your life, she’s not the one for you.” I huff out a laugh and begin pacing.
