The majority of pages are undamaged with some creasing or tearing, and pencil underlining of text, but this is minimal.

They consult their evil spellbook, and concoct a potion in a boiling cauldron - add oil to make it boil, mix in blood of owl and an herb that's red, a dash of pox and a dead man's toe - the potion allows the evil witches to steal Emily's life force, making them young while Emily perishes. Some of the illustrations also left much to be desired and could’ve been more detailed in my opinion.

Three hundred years later, in 1993, teenage Max and his 8 year old sister Dani have just moved with their family to Salem from California. Inside the museum/cottage on Halloween is a creepy experience, but Max wants to show Allison that he is not scared.

GRIS GRIMLY is an award-winning illustrator best known for his "macabre" yet humorous books for children and young adults.Between these, I would have liked to have seen more smaller illustrations, as there are times when it seems that you turn quite a few pages before you come across the next one.
