Most often used with dry media such as graphite pencils, colored pencils, pastel pencils, charcoal, pens, markers, or pen-and-ink, some sketchbook papers are designed to accept acrylic or watercolor washes, inks, mediums, and mixed media work without buckling. The 100% cotton paper is cold pressed with a slight variation between the front and back of the paper.

You can see that there is some warping of the paper, which is really to be expected with a 150gsm sketchbook. I do a paint-out of my one of palettes at the start of each sketchbook as it's a great way to see how the colours work on the paper. These sketchbooks bothered me for a while as they have a very light grey natural linen fabric cover which I thought would be filthy in no time.
