Although its characters have inspired a number of nostalgic films and ranges of merchandise, Harvey comics of the period are not nearly as sought after in the collectors' market in contrast to DC and Marvel titles.

The spoiled but gifted Damian assumed the mantle of Robin and acted as an antiheroic foil to both Batman and the previous Robins. Finger s fondness for pulp fiction and movies influenced his plots and writing style for comic books. Notably absent are most of the villains that made Batman famous: there's one Joker story and one that features a bust of Two Face, but that's it.
