About this deal

but yeah i appreciate that is is one of the unique fragrances but if i were 50 then i would wear this, if i want something reminding me of the old times because this one is for those who want to rememeber someone or a place in their memory and as for now I am trying to go for a more fresh woody tones. L’Air du Temps continues its heritage of celebrating French savoir-faire by collaborating with Alix D. Reynis founded her eponymous brand in 2011, creating elegant, timeless pieces inspired by treasures she finds from history.

They haven't taken center stage, but they're adding their depth to the carnation more than they did at the opening.Although I'd like to have this as a potential signature scent, in my mind it will always remind me of her, Clarice Starling, and the grace and fortitude of the women who endured WWII. Revisiting the delicate and sensual charm of the classic L'Air du Temps, this limited edition takes the scent to a soft, second-skin sensation. L\'Air du Temps was created due to the great passion of the Nina Ricci\'s son Robert for fragrances and the art of the master perfumer Francis Fabron.

I’ve never worn this personally but it’s a very comforting scent to me because my granny has worn it since she herself was young.I love the sentiment, and the pure floral and clean soap nature of the perfume make me nostalgic for a happy, girlish adolescence that I didn't have. L’air du Temps opens to reveal the luminous freshness of Italian bergamot, sparkling peach and the warmth of pink carnation; creating the uniquely distinctive spicy floral signature. I save this gem and layer over Ylang-Ylang, cedarwood and sandalwood essential oils and sometimes Heaven Sent for extra wood, powder, flowers and soap, on the nights I miss her the most. The top notes of L’Air du Temps Eau de Parfum reveal the luminous freshness of bergamot from Italy combined with the clove accents of pink carnation, creating the fragrance’s unique spicy-floral signature. That said, sure this is a really soapy aldehyde perfume, but it not dirty, dark, skanky, or any of that.

They don’t smell the same to me, the notes vary slightly in all of them, but there’s enough similarity that if you like one, chances are you might like the others. IT was soooo powdery almost suffocating, and it had that weird cheap perfume scent to it--- someone described it as a nivea cream lol i guess it can be seen as one. I am 30 years old, and even though this is an old perfume, I think it's a nice professional perfume for someone in my age group.

Composed during the joyful time that followed the war, the fresh scent blends jasmine, rose and carnation, celebrating the essence of femininity with pure optimism. I was afraid to try this one for a looong time because Wind Song is so often compared to L’air and Wind Song is one of the stinkiest nasty smelling things that’s ever singed my nose hairs.

Wasn't planning on reviewing this one until I stumbled upon a rare find that really made my jaw drop. Handcrafted in her Paris atelier, these graceful objets d’art are designed to be passed down through the generations. I sprayed them all, some were more soapy, others more spicy, nonetheless lovely and light in character. An enigmatic and alluring composition, don't think an unfamiliar nose could appreciate the scent but they would certainly like it because it's quite pleasing (at least it's on me), I'm unable to put my finger on this fragrance's character; a woman with grace (so many women), but a man with a romantic mind and tender eyes could carry it so perfectly as well.

It's not overpowering but it is powdery, slightly floral and very feminine, and I have been asked what perfume I'm wearing from complete strangers too. All this beauty takes a little time to be tamed, in a St Exupery’s fox way, it fears shortcuts (no no it's not chanel 5, no it's not Arpège), then it settles like a thin lace on the skin and it radiates serenely, calm and peaceful. My EDP actually wears loud for a few hours if I apply enough, and lasts about six hours before fading into a floral soap skin scent. It's very floral and perhaps old-fashioned, but the notes seem to combine to form a scent like warm skin or breath. Soft, sweet rose blends with the warmth of jasmine for an elegantly refined bouquet at the scent’s blossoming heart.
