About this deal

Is this something anyone else has noticed with other films, are we looking at the start of the end for discs as they try to move everything to streaming or just random studio choices?

It took some concentration to start out with (till my brain got up to speed), i liked the multi-verse theme, the time shifting as well as the family theme, great story well told. Although the bonus material could be a bit meatier, the overall UHD package is nonetheless highly-recommended and belongs in every 4K library. Fortunately there are a number of great interviews and other specials online that you can add to your media center's extras. A 10-minute EPK follows, then a random collection of set clips, VFX progress, and more runs 11-minutes.

An aging Chinese immigrant is swept up in an insane adventure, where she alone can save the world by exploring other universes connecting with the lives she could have led. and a parent - child relationship that is refracted through a completely peculiar and often hilariously surreal set of alternate realities. Son Lux's score also enjoys excellent fidelity and acoustical detailing throughout while a robust low-end adds a palpable presence to every action sequence with a few surprisingly authoritative moments that dig as low as 20Hz ( bass chart). slipcase is a beautiful dark rust color and features the film's title on the front and credits on the back. Teaming up with her alternate lives, the unlikely allies realize that they alone possess the power to protect the world from calamity, plunging them into the midst of an outlandish quest.

frame, either pillarboxed or letterboxed as needed, so that will cause issues for anyone using a Constant Image Height setup. So, just like with The Lighthouse, this edition doesn't carry over all the extras from the LG release. Starring Michelle Yeoh, Jamie Lee Curtis, Ke Huy Quan, Stephanie Hsu and James Hong, the filmmaking duo Daniel Scheinert and Daniel Kwan's Everything Everywhere All at Once is a bizarrely entertaining and ingeniously heartfelt surprise molding several genres, wildly creative visuals and deeply complex ideas into a harmoniously poignant, heart-warming portrait of one person's existential crisis. In listening to the Dolby Atmos surround mix I found it to be of the moderately active variety that made effective use of the platform. The English subtitles for the Mandarin and Cantonese dialogue are burned into the film itself, sometimes creatively so. The Music Visual is a sort of a music video for the song This Is a Life, featuring an appropriate backdrop.

that elements we normally address like detail levels, palette saturation and "grain" (whether digital or otherwise) can be hugely variant by design. Evelyn has been so preoccupied that she has been living completely blind to an unhappy marriage with the always upbeat and optimistic Waymond (Ke Huy Quan of The Goonies and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom fame). Making life even more challenging is the fact that they’re under audit by the IRS, and while meeting with the cantankerous auditor (Jamie Lee Curtis), Evelyn’s world will end up being unexpectedly fractured when she’s violently drawn into the multiverse around her. It’s a new age Christmas Carol, sort of, unrelenting in idiosyncratic ideas, and with no fear as to how to approach them.

Grappling with the onset of middle age, a Chinese immigrant discovers that she can traverse across time and space. On this particular day, Evelyn's universe, the one she has worked so hard to build for years while foregoing the many dreams she wished to accomplish for herself, is now under threat, on the brink of collapsing all at once, falling into the nihilistic view that nothing matters. At the same time, her daughter Joy (Stephanie Hsu) is at the breaking point waiting for mother to accept her and her girlfriend Becky (Tallie Medel). The everything bagel threatens the multiverse on Ultra HD with an awesomely mesmerizing 4K Dolby Vision video, an absurdly fantastic Dolby Atmos track but a small selection of bonuses. The UHD rental has the bonus content which I started last night and intend to finish before sending back.

What pushed it over the threshold this week was that A24 re-released this movie with 8 minutes of outtakes, etc. Co-written/co-directed by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert Everything Everywhere All at Once asks quite a bit of the audience but, if you’re open to it, it’s got something viable to offer. The performances by Michelle Yeoh, Stephanie Hsu, and Ke Huy Kwan, lead the way but, honestly, I enjoyed all of the performances by the cast with each given time to add a defining element to the proceedings. Packaged and shipped well shows seller has concern for the products he sells to arrive in excellent condition.
