About this deal

I loved how Get Back does a far better job showcasing Billy’s talent on the keyboards and the band’s reaction to him than Let It Be did. We will introduce you exclusively to Newpay finance products provided by NewDay Limited under this Introducer Appointed Representative arrangement. However - my 2 oldest granddaughters (11yo and 15yo) are *huge* fans and will possibly be watching this with me (if they've not done so already as they have Disney+ at home). What we do get is a digibook case with candid photos taken during the original shoot, as well as a set of four 6.

Fans might remember that director Peter Jackson's epic 2021 documentary (which premiered on Disney+ where it is still streaming) chronicling John, Paul, George, and Ringo's exploits in the studio on the road to Let It Be was originally scheduled for home video release on February 8. The artwork in front consists of the Beatles both in their younger years and during their final days together looking down off a balcony, which was used on their greatest hits albums. As others have noted, a CD release of the rooftop session would be a welcome addition -- along with a video of the rooftop concert without the man on the street interviews.Disney brings The Beatles: Get Back to Blu-ray with a trio of primary audio options: a Dolby Atmos soundtrack, LPCM 7. And if your a Beatles fan I would say don’t hesitate getting a copy if you can find one as it’s highly likely that this set won’t be around very long as I doubt Disney is gung-ho on keeping it in print beyond what seems like a small first issue.

Even more interesting, when I first inserted disc one from this final release, my player asked me if I wanted to pick up from where I had left off. The rooftop concert was done in multiple frames, sometimes three, where we could see street level occurrences simultaneously with the band playing. Also included is an option to view the main rooftop songs onscreen with all the camera angles from the “Get Back”documentary along with the same songs as they appear in the original “Let it Be” film. The Beatles: Get Backis an extraordinary documentary of super-rare, never-before-seen footage from the world's biggest band. As usual there are plenty of photos of the “Get Back” set as well as the “Get Back: The Rooftop Concert” to keep you entertained so look above and below to see what they contain. Now I usually don’t mention grey area items unless they are really quite exceptional and this set my friends fits that bill. Make sure you have a good sound system on your TV because the rooftop performance at the end is brilliant. After months of drama and weirdness at least an official Blu-ray set of the truly wonderful “Get Back” documentary is out there and able to be purchased. Home Entertainment's Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore roared back into the top spot on the Blu-ray-only chart, displacing Lionsgate Home Entertainment's Everything Everywhere All at Once, which dropped . com is an Introducer Appointed Representative of Pay4Later Limited, trading as Deko, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 728646).

And what of the promised re-release original Let it Be movie on DVD and Blu Ray, not to mention the 18 hour director's cut mentioned several times by Peter Jackson. Directed by Peter Jackson, The Beatles: Get Back is a three-part documentary series that takes audiences back in time to the band’s intimate recording sessions. The fact that Paul was at times a rather insensitive perfectionist in how HIS songs would be performed is an understatement.Peter Jackson has done the best he can to make this more watchable for the general masses, many who are turned off by overly grainy images, which I am sure the original footage had. Then, in 2003, they found a huge trove of stolen film from the Let It Be sessions, and the project was put on hold, although the companion album, Let It Be Naked, was released. I can't help but wonder just how much sales of Beatles music and movies will fall off as the Boomer generation dies. I think removing the grain from the film does give the “Get Back” footage more of the look of a videotape which makes viewing these sessions come to life in way that film doesn’t.

Jackson’s six-hour documentary arrived on Disney+ last year in three two-hour episodes that premiered over Thanksgiving weekend. The funny thing is I’m not one hundred percent sure it is legit but I’m thinking it more than likely is – are you confused yet? no option to ‘just’ watch the rooftop concert without cuts to the street / audience, which I know some of us Beatle nuts wanted.Acclaimed director Peter Jackson’s stunning docuseries The Beatles: Get Back will now be available to own on a Blu-ray Collector’s Set. But for some reason here, this transfer and picture have been so processed that the film is completely flat.
