When Anker asked got it touch and requested a review my first thoughts were if such a tiny little projector could really produce an entertaining picture, could it really project a 100″ picture? Until you realise you’re told you can’t use them as the apps youre using are the mobile apps that are designed around a touch UI and you need to switch to mouse mode. Once in an app, control can be a bit fiddly, as the video players don’t support the remote control’s cursor keys; you have to select everything via Mouse mode on the remote or app. When looking at the Nebula Capsule Max you wouldn’t say that it is a projector: it looks more like a fancy Bluetooth speaker.

The Capsule Max, with its subtle matte-black finish, integrated controls, and compact form, exudes a futuristic appeal. That being said I’ve really enjoyed testing the Capsule Max, it’s a great little projector I’ll be taking with me on holiday instead of a Bluetooth speaker. I've received one firmware update since I've had it and had occassion to try the Anker support who were excellent and resolved the problem quickly and efficiently. Very little customisation allowed so the main menu has items that cant be removed and stuff that needs to be there cant be added.Acceptable condition - Scratches visible when holding the device 30 centimeters away and perceptible to the touch.

A while back, we took a close look at Anker’s popular Capsule – a highly portable projector in a very small package aiming to transform the pocket projector from a strict business tool into a serious multimedia device – and overall, we were quite pleased. But laptops tend to fall off laps and more easily damaged, so was thinking this projector for different situations. With a focus on mobile and laptops, Oliver is never too far away from whatever social network is trending today and is never short of an opinion to share. I have been using Prizm (initially since October 2019 ) and Capsule (Dec 2019 to Now)and mostly use it evenings / night. The design or the Nebula capsule is really good (one exception is the position for usb, Hdmi and power attachments, positioned at the back make it virtually impossible to project onto a ceiling with out a full size stand, i would have moved them to the side if possible).

You don’t need to install anything on your PC meaning you can access them from anywhere that has an internet connection.
