About this deal

When the camera is confronted with a moving subject, the continuous AF works quite well, in practice. This feature makes it easier than ever to capture self-portraits and supports high-angle and low-angle shooting, ensuring your photos and videos turn out exactly as you imagine them. With full compatibility with Olympus' extensive range of Micro Four Thirds lenses, you have access to a diverse range of optics. I’ve had the Em5 for nearly 2 years and the EM1 for 4-5 months and I cant say I’ve noticed any shutter shock issues….

This is one reason that Fuji's image quality is a bit overrated, and also the reason that is more dificult to compare head by head. This was long a staple of the film’s simpler PEN cameras, so it’s a surprise Olympus took so long to add it to the E-M10 line. This was a great relief to many photographers who had been worried about the future of Olympus, as these clever little cameras have long had a dedicated fanbase. It's a very compact lens (even smaller than Panasonic's 14-42 Vario X powerzoom) but despite its size, finds room for both a zoom and focus rings.

Good viewfinder, fast and super accurate autofocus, decent ergonomics, tilting LCD, highly effective in body stabilization and a wealth of high quality compact and lightweight lenses to choose from. ALL of these cameras have been wonderful to use and to shoot but especially these new camera bodies Olympus have been releasing over the past couple of years. I’d still happily shoot at up to ISO 6400 if necessary, but would avoid the extended higher settings if possible.

I glossed over it and while it looked cool I had doubts about why anyone would want it over an E-m5. Whether you're a professional on the go or an enthusiast seeking a versatile, take-anywhere camera, this kit is your perfect companion. As the review noted above: The E-M10 keeps up with its APS-C and MFT peers with retention of fine detail until ISO 6400 when things take a turn for the worse. And for people who like to share their pictures quickly it also has the wifi funct All you have to do here is wait about 6 months to a year after the introduction of new product and you have your pick of the last generation of stuff for 50 to 70 percent of what it cost new!
