About this deal

Blades are not the cheapest if you get branded ones, but the cheap blades do not seem to last very long at all. Really easy to use and pretty powerful for the size, it's does use the batteries pretty quick if using for a long time. Credit subject to status, UK residents only, Industrial Tool Supplies (London) Limited acts as a broker and offers finance from PayPal credit. P>These 18V brushless oscillating multi-tools from DeWalt deliver up to 57% more run time over the brushed motor, and also come with a quick-change accessory system that allow blades and attachments to be changed without the use of tools.

Credit subject to status, UK residents only, Toolstation Ltd, acts as a broker and offers finance from a restricted range of finance providers, PayPal Credit is a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH. I have used this multi tool for around four years now, I pack it for every job I do as it’s so useful. The Quick-Change accessory system allows you to change blades quickly and easily, and with the universal accessory adaptor, it's compatible with most oscillating tool accessories. Used a couple of these now and both have been horrible to use with the visitation compared to my metabo multi tool. The quick release system works well and it comes with a hex adapter to allow you to use the standard type of tool/bit. The quick blade change is great even if it’ll snap the end of the blade off occasionally, and the led work light is surprisingly useful.

Stick a quality blade in and a 5ah battery on its bottom and it runs for ages, giving clean cut after clean cut. Absolutely brilliant piece of kit, the quick change multi tool feature makes switching blades out as simple task, unlike the cheaper multi tools I have used in the past. It has a bright LED light that illuminates dark work surfaces for accurate cutting, whilst the depth control straight cut guide increases cutting accuracy for detailed work. I use it for taking up floorboards, cutting our socket boxes in plasterboard, I even have a Dimond blade for cutting out sockets/ channels in plaster and breeze block. After replacing a burnt out unit from another brand, I decided to spend the extra for the DeWalt so I could make use of the interchangeable batteries. With a brushless motor, this 18V oscillating tool makes light work of cutting tasks, eliminating the need for time-consuming work by hand. Firstly for the value, secondly for the quality of the boxes, how tough they are compared to their rivals, the likes of Makita and Festool.

The DCS355 oscillating multi-tool has a compact 300w motor which delivers 0-22,000 oscillations per minute, providing faster completion of the most demanding tasks. It uses the Quick-Change Accessory System that allows blades and attachments to be changed without the use of tools.Discover the Dewalt 18V XR series, a collection of professional-grade tools designed to meet the highest standards of performance and durability.
