Mikasa MVA200 is official competition ball for all international volleyball matches since Beijing 2008 to 2018. The slightly denser feel of this ball compared to the crappy 18 panel Wilson and Baden balls at my gym makes it easier for me to place my sets, though hitting requires a bit more precision on the player's part. Construction looks decent, but will have to wait and see till I destroy the ball in a matter of time.The Double Dimple technology is used to minimize the air resistance which allows the ball to fly through the air in a truer form. I also play a Tachi SV5W which is a nice all-around ball but I definitely prefer the 8-panel composite design over the 18-panel leather cover of the Tachi.
