It suits a young teenager but equally could be an everyday signature scent for someone in their 20’s/early 30’s. Okay, here's a confession: I didn't even read the list of notes before hitting the "I want it" button. I have seen a few reviews somewhere else saying that this is too sweet and too young, which I kind of understand why.

Okay its been a day and I can officially say this perfume is something which will grow on you like no other. I think this isn't a sugar coated depiction of a what a mermaid may smell like, its a very realistic one. Having grown up obsessed with the Anna Sui aesthetic as a teen in the 90’s- I don’t understand these perfumes at all.This description is somehow the exact opposite of my experience of Fantasia Mermaid — that is, opposite in its sequence of development. If you can single out the blood orange, jasmine, vanilla etc that the scent notes flag up then fair play to you. For me it is a breezy, not really fresh and quite spicy citrus that dries down to a woody soft floral, kind of like a wood near a cost smells in the evening, slightly damp but by no means unpleasant. She the took out a big dessert sooon and scooped out some thick cut demerara sugar granules out from the sugar tub.

I smell a lot of the notes mixed together, jasmine, litchi, honey, and cardamon are the notes that stand out the most to me on dry down. To me this is another take on the Secret Wish perfumes, especially the original, and maybe Lucky Wish. I could smell it wafting through the air as my daughter skipped ahead of me after a full day of school.I am so ashamed, but my first thought was that it smells like Wunderbaum (you know, the little scented car-freshener cut as a green little tree. This one is interesting starts off very citrusy and sweet and then it becomes very aromatic like a men's cologne.
