About this deal

English wheat and pure Newfoundland water create an additive free vodka that is then five times distilled and filtered seven times - three of these filters made using Herkimer diamonds for that final distinctive touch. This exquisite limited-edition artist series bottle houses Crystal Head’s award-winning original vodka. Staying true to the house style, Aurora is crafted not through the addition of any additional flavours, but distilled from an entirely different grain to create a drier, bolder and spicier flavour.

Aurora is an additive-free vodka: it is based on premium English wheat and pristine, clear water from Newfoundland, Canada. It's excellent in cocktails but arguably the standard release is a more enjoyable neat drinker - although this still works well as a shot from the freezer. Crystal Head Vodka takes a captivating turn with this 'iridescent' skull incarnation, an artistic homage to the mesmerizing Aurora Borealis, also known as the Northern Lights.Crystal Head Vodka Aurora is an unbelievably clean vodka that smells seductively of flowers and a hint of anise. Taking inspiration from the crystal skulls in Aztec era, they were once said to have held mystical powers, but now they hold a higher spirit; vodka. Made using wheat from the pastoral hills of North Yorkshire, and inspired by the Aurora Borealis, this high-quality vodka is both spicier and bolder than the original CHV. It was promptly dispatched and delivered by UPS, the bottle was encased in one of those air padded thingys and the display case was neatly folded beside it in case you wanted to package and wrap as a gift.

Highest quality peaches and cream corn is distilled four times into a neutral grain gluten-free spirit and blended with pristine water from Newfoundland, Canada. A piece of art in itself, the Aurora edition is cut from iridescent metallised glass, reflecting light like the Aurora Borealis (now you know where the name comes from). And as our final distinctive touch, three of these filtrations are passed through layers of Herkimer diamonds. Three times the vodka runs through a layer of Herkimer diamonds: the final polish of this unique product. Please always read the labels, warnings, and directions provided with the product before using or consuming a product. While the award-winning original is made of "Peaches and Cream" corn, the new vodka is produced from the wheat variety "Sunset" from North Yorkshire in England. Aykroyd always thought the bottle was the skull of a woman he named Joy, but was he was also relieved to find out it didn’t look like him! This Crystal Head Vodka takes its concept from the aurora borealis which is visible in the far north of America with the amazing natural light display in the sky.
