Units: The math is unit-less in that if all inch units are used the result is in inches and if all mm al used the the answers are given in mm. Also, meters, angstroms, or whatever makes you happy is used just keep the length units consistant. If you want different widths for end gaps (say, for fasteners), subtract the end gap widths from space width before making your selections. For example, if the space width is 1219 and if you want end gaps of 12 for fasteners, enter 1195 for space width (1219 - 12 - 12 = 1195).
