It was the perfect remedy to break the daily home routine and gave my mummy and I the perfect excuse to hide away and have some girly time.

Now with anything beauty centred I can be a bit pessimistic, maybe I’m still jaded from a misfortune in my youth, with heart crimpers not working, but in all honesty I was truly surprised with just how easy and well this product worked. Children can paint their nails with the two colour of special sticky nail polish provided, then place their fingers one by one into the nail stamper and with one push of the button, a beautiful pattern is applied. After a bit of practice we found it fairly easy to use but we did have a few tries that didn't really work as the polish was too tacky or we didn't push hard enough on the stamper and only half the design printed. This at-home nail studio includes everything you need to decorate up to 125 nails of any size (including my mummy’s super long nails)!We quickly discovered that the set only works with the nail polishes that come with the set which was a little disappointing. You do need some patience to start with, and you must let each layer dry for the required amount of time, or it won’t work.

The kit comes with the stamper, five sets of stamping tape, a purple polish, a blue polish, top coat, in a cute travel bag with a nail file attached. We did Syd’s nails over half term, and she got 4 days out of them before they had chipped enough to need removing and reapplying. Once your nails are ready just slide your chosen design pod into the nail stamper and place your finger into the hole.
