About this deal

The Cubase, Live, Studio One, Sonar and Digital Performer modes are all essentially Mackie Control emulations, and there’s a Pro Tools mode that uses the HUI protocol. When you have a filter with higher resonance or just an oscillator pitch knob, 64 steps will sound coarse. But it needs a powerbank to be portable - and how do I connect the iPad if the USB port is used for power? I personally don't mind them, they are usable enough and when you need velocity they beat the iPad screen. There are, however, eight available scenes to switch between, which you can adjust with the Kontrol Editor if necessary.

The jog wheel scrolls up and down the Scene list, but provides no means to actually trigger the selected Scene. As a performing artist, I think the real testament to a product’s value for me is whether it makes it into my permanent rig.

Have one and liked it alright until the upper-left most key and bottom left key quit sending out midi information. Luckily MIDI channels are memorized per scene so you can set a different channel per scene (and even per controller) and have access to 8 of them.
